Location

Tredinney Farm is a working Dairy & Beef farm nestled in the heart of West Cornwall. Centrally located within 20 minutes of golden beaches of Sennen and Porthcurno, the fishing vilages of Newlyn & Moushole and the historic towns of Penzance and St Just, it is the perfect place for a Cornish farm holiday.

Lands End Airport is just over a mile away, making us ideally located for a day trip to the Isles of Scilly or for a scenic flight over the historic landscape.

Nature

The surrounding moorland is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) with many registered Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) for its ancient field systems and its rare flora. We are also lucky to have the historic gardens of Trewidden, Trengwainton and Godolphin within a short drive.

History

Tredinney is surrounded by the largest concentration of archaeological monuments in Cornwall, including stone circles dating from the Bronze Age, ancient burial chambers, inscribed stones and granite crosses.

We have archaeological sites on our own farm, and Carn Euny ancient monument village is on our farm's boundary. Our fields go as far as Chapel Euny, where the famous holy well is, very close to Carn Euny Iron Age village.

The nearby market town of St Just was recognised as an important part of Cornwall's Mining Heritage in 2006 when it became part of World Heritage Site.
